So as a new mom, I figured a lot of struggles out as they came. Such as breastfeeding, sleep patterns, gas, rashes, and last but not least "teething!" Sounds so simple, right? When it comes down to the last (newest struggle amongst everything else) on the list, teething, I have yet to learn how not to go insane. AaAaAaaaaaaaaaahhhh! Someone rescue me now! Screaming during feeding times, throwing head back, forcing body out from beneath my arms, and the only cure is to create comfort and enough visual stimulation by holding her close standing up or dancing or talking to her. I am writing this as she is still screaming in her crib after we put her to bed. This is not normal. Yes I am stressed because as a mother I want to give all the nurture and love my child needs, and when times happen this way, it seems I have failed. If it weren't for God and his grace, I wouldn't have a
clue how I could handle this position of motherhood. With that said, I am thankful that I'm not alone.
